Gunning Community Care is a highly-regarded organisation in our community employing local staff and support workers.

All staff understand the unique challenges faced by families living in small, hard-to-access or isolated communities and the impact this can have on accessing health care and support services.
All our nursing staff, community care workers and volunteers have relevant security checks and home and respite training.

Community Support Workers
Community Support Workers help provide much needed back-up and support to our community health team. All community support workers have completed their Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
​
All staff undertake annual training which includes first aid, CPR, defibrillator training, Bowel Care, Infection Control, Food Handling and Medication Management.
​
In addition many community support workers have also trained in palliative care.
