Providing quality nursing care for our community

Gunning Community Care employs four Community Nurses to provide professional nursing care in the home, or in its Allied Health rooms.

Important message about changes to community nursing services

Due to government funding changes, Gunning Community Care has had to adjust its community nursing operations which means some residents may now be referred to Goulburn Community Health.

Gunning Community Care is still able to provide community nursing services to people aged over 65, as well as Veterans and any walk-in patients.

Unfortunately, funding cuts mean many clients may now need to be referred to Goulburn for treatment.  Gunning community Care can assist with these referrals, information and support.

Gunning Community Care is conscious of the important role community nursing plays in helping our residents stay in their own homes when they are unwell. Our staff have been working hard with Government and organisations to restore this funding so services may be reinstated.

In the meantime, we are happy to answer any questions and help residents and their families to be put in touch with the appropriate service providers, be it Gunning or elsewhere. You can contact us on 4845 1166 and click extension 3 or email with your concerns.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our service.
